Driving Range and Short Game Area
Thoughtfully planned practice areas are provided to perfect every part of your game. Golf members of every skill level are encouraged to use the extensive facilities including a natural grass driving range with over twenty hitting bays and a 2.5 acre short game area with target green, bunker green and two putting greens for that focus on short game play.
27 Holes of Challenging Play
Our 27 hole championship golf course provides a picturesque landscape to enjoy. Our three courses provide a variety of challenges, vast amount of wetland hazards, well-manicured fairways, and some of the fastest putting greens in Metro Detroit. It truly is a special place to experience and the home to rare and beautifuly wildlife, including a family of Bald Eagles.
Professional Instruction
Walnut Creek staff of PGA golf professionals provide lessons and training for golfers of every age and level. The staff offers both private and group based lessons to work on skills, techniques and course management. Also available to members is the Mike Fay Golf Academy at Walnut Creek. This elite training academy offers players a unique approach to build technical aspects of the game and is available for year round coaching.
Golf for a Cause
The Men and Women golfers at Walnut Creek are proud to participate in supporting local and national organizations. Our involvement in the Evans Scholar Foundation provides college tuition and housing to deserving caddies. Members may enroll in the Eagles for Children program, which raises money for children's based charities in our local community. And a favorite women's event; "Doe Day" is an annual tournament which raises awareness and needed funds for a new charity every year.
