Where Junior Golfers ages 5 - 18 Learn and Improve on the Game of Golf
The popular Junior Golf program spans seven weeks in June and July. It is available for children of Regular Golf Members and is an outstanding opportunity for them to learn and love the game of golf. Our golf professionals provide instruction while parents walk the course to assist with scorekeeping.
Junior Golfers are divided into different levels of education. All programs start with twenty-five minutes of instruction followed by a competitive round of golf based on ability. The season wraps up with the Junior Golf Championship / Fun Day.
Little Linkers
Little Linkers is a separate five-week lesson program for children that are five and six years old. This program does not include playing golf competitively, but introduces the game to our juniors.
Three-Hole Junior Course
Walnut Creek also has a three hole Junior Course which allows parents to enjoy time with their children who are not ready for the main course. This course is also used for the Junior Golf Program and is a great segue for juniors to learn the game of golf on a much smaller scale.
